Note: This announcement constitutes an official notification, and no separate notification will be issued.
Pursuant to Article 44/c of Law No. 2547 and the letter of the Council of Higher Education dated 6 July 2023 and numbered 45249, students who, following the additional examinations, have more than five courses remaining that they have failed, failed due to absenteeism, and/or have never taken will be dismissed from the University, regardless of whether they exercise or do not exercise their additional examination rights. Students who have five or fewer remaining courses following the additional examinations will be granted additional registration periods according to the number of remaining courses. In accordance with the relevant regulations, students who reduce the number of courses in which they have failed, failed due to absenteeism, or which they have never taken to five courses following the additional examinations will be granted three semesters; students who have up to five courses in which they have failed, failed due to absenteeism, or which they have never taken without taking the additional examinations will be granted four semesters; and students with one remaining course in which they have failed, failed due to absenteeism, or which they have never taken will be granted an unlimited right to take examinations for that course without benefiting from student rights. For these students, attendance will not be required for courses other than practical courses, courses involving practical components, and courses that have not previously been taken. Students are required to pay the applicable contribution/tuition fee for each course in which they take an examination.
All relevant students are hereby notified.
