In line with its mission, vision, and core values, the Faculty of Theology has embraced a quality assurance system to achieve its strategic objectives. Within the framework of national and international external evaluation criteria, the Faculty aims to enhance the quality and quantity of its education and training, research and development, and regionally/nationally recognized social contribution activities. It aspires to become an effective, efficient, competitive, and entrepreneurial faculty at both national and international levels.
Our Faculty has adopted the creation of its own quality assurance system by integrating the national quality assurance system—developed through the adaptation of international standards in quality assurance (ESG 2015 - European Standards and Guidelines) and the Turkish Higher Education Council’s institutional external evaluation criteria—with our regional and national cultural values. Within this self-developed quality assurance system, our Faculty is committed to carrying out all activities in accordance with international standards and relevant legal regulations. The Faculty prioritizes a quality-oriented management system that is based on continuous improvement and sustainability through regular monitoring, aiming above all to ensure the satisfaction of students and all stakeholders.
In this context, the Faculty of Theology is committed to:
- Ensuring the participation of all stakeholders,
- Adopting a management approach based on well-defined processes, continuous evaluation, and improvement,
- Promoting the effective use of resources.
The principles embraced by all faculty members and staff include:
- Stakeholder satisfaction, primarily through the delivery of high-quality education,
- Process-oriented operational management,
- A culture of continuous improvement based on regular reviews,
- Efficient use of resources.
Within this framework, our Quality Objectives are as follows:
- Ensuring the active participation of academic and administrative staff, as well as students, in quality assurance processes,
- Preventing all forms of discrimination in employment and the working environment,
- Adhering strictly to Article 10 of the Constitution, which states: “Everyone is equal before the law without distinction as to language, race, color, sex, political opinion, philosophical belief, religion and sect, or any such grounds,”
- Institutionalizing the participation of external stakeholders in quality assurance processes.
