The Faculty of Theology was established in 2012 by a decision of the Council of Ministers, published in Official Gazette No. 28332.
The Faculty comprises three distinct departments under the umbrella of the Theology program: Philosophy and Religious Studies, Basic Islamic Studies, and Islamic History and Arts.
The Faculty’s academic staff includes 1 full professor, 5 associate professors, 15 assistant professors, 11 research assistants, and 4 teaching assistants. Additionally, the Faculty is supported by 13 administrative and technical personnel.
The Theology program is active, with students enrolled in both daytime and evening classes. Instruction in the Faculty is primarily theoretical. The languages of instruction are Turkish and Arabic.
