The Arabic Knowledge Competition organized among the preparatory class students of the Faculty of Theology at Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University was successfully held with strong participation and great enthusiasm. Organized in line with the Faculty’s vision of enriching educational activities through social and cultural events, the program attracted significant interest from students and the academic community.

The program was attended by university administrators and academic staff, including our Rector and Dean, Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer. During the competition, students had the opportunity to demonstrate not only their Arabic language skills but also their knowledge in the field of general culture. In addition to increasing students’ interest in their courses, the event made important contributions to the development of team spirit, self-confidence, and effective communication skills.

The enthusiastic support of the audience in the fully occupied hall added further excitement to the competition. The event, conducted in a friendly atmosphere of competition, provided memorable moments for both participants and spectators. Prize-awarding surprise questions directed to the audience throughout the program also added dynamism to the event and further strengthened the atmosphere of an intellectual gathering.

At the end of the competition, which witnessed great excitement, “Preparatory Class A” achieved first place. Awards were presented to the winning students by Rector Özölçer. The program concluded with commemorative photographs taken to mark the occasion.

It was stated that such events not only contribute to students’ academic development but also strengthen their social bonds, and that similar organizations will continue to increase in the future.
