Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University Faculty of Theology hosted a presentation on effective public speaking and proper voice use on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at 12:00 p.m., delivered by Assist. Prof. Dr. Metin Gündoğdu as part of the “Public Speaking and Professional Practice” course.

The event, held at the Faculty’s Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ali Arslan Conference Hall, addressed topics including diaphragm use, proper breathing techniques, and voice management, which are among the fundamental elements of effective public speaking. The presentation emphasized the importance of using one’s voice effectively and correctly during public speaking in terms of the clarity of speech and its impact on the audience.

The event, organized particularly for students of the Faculty of Theology, who are expected to establish effective communication in their professional lives, emphasized the contribution of proper breathing and voice use to the development of public speaking skills.
