The application process for the “Youth Program,” initiated under the protocol signed between Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (BEUN) and the Turkish Employment Agency (İŞKUR) to support university students’ sectoral experience and development, will take place between 23–27 October 2025.

With this important cooperation signed on 21 October 2025, a total of 1,860 students enrolled in BEUN’s undergraduate, associate, and graduate programs will be able to benefit from the İŞKUR Youth Program. Students accepted into the program will have the opportunity to work in various fields, including sustainable campus activities, campus infrastructure and maintenance, social and cultural activities, academic and administrative support, community service and cooperation activities, student development and orientation activities, digital transformation and innovation activities, and entrepreneurship ecosystem activities.

Students participating in the program will receive a daily payment of 1,083 TL, and their General Health Insurance (GSS) as well as occupational accident and occupational disease insurance premiums will be covered by İŞKUR.

Application Requirements

• Being a citizen of the Republic of Türkiye

• Being at least 18 years old

• Being registered with İŞKUR

• Not receiving old-age or disability pension

• Not having been employed by the contractor or its affiliated, related, or subsidiary organizations within one year prior to the program request date or until the program start date

• Not having been reported as insured or deemed insured under Article 4 of Law No. 5510 within the last month prior to the application date

• Not having been reported as insured or deemed insured under Article 5 of Law No. 5510 as of the application date

• Not being a beneficiary of active labor market or unemployment insurance programs offered by İŞKUR

• Being an enrolled student at the contracting university (not being an open or distance education student; not having frozen enrollment or being in passive status)

The monthly household income of applicants must not exceed three times the net minimum wage (66,314 TL). This condition does not apply to students staying in dormitories affiliated with the Credit and Dormitories Institution (KYK).

Each student may only apply from the district where their faculty, school, or vocational school is located; otherwise, their application will be considered invalid.

Students in the following units at Devrek Campus will apply for Devrek District:

Students at Çaycuma Vocational School and Çaycuma Food and Agriculture Vocational School will apply for Çaycuma District.

Students enrolled in School of Foreign Languages preparatory programs will apply to the İŞKUR office located in the district of their registered faculty, school, or vocational school.

Students whose applications are accepted will submit their documents to their respective faculty, school, or vocational school.

Graduate students enrolled in institutes will apply for Zonguldak / Central District.

Students will submit their applications through the İŞKUR online system at https://genclik.iskur.gov.tr/ between 23–27 October 2025, selecting the district where their academic unit is located.
